This Year’s Lyminge Day has a Chinese theme to help to get us all in the mood for the Olympics later on in the year.







There will be martial arts displays, Chinese dragon dancers and Lyminge’s own “China Town” where you can buy Chinese arts and crafts and sample Chinese snacks, buy a fortune cookie or have a Chinese “tattoo”.



For teenagers there will be the chance to try your hand at reverse bungee jumping, and other funfair tractions such as a shooting alley, a fantastic slide and other fun fayre attractions.



For the younger ones there will be a roundabout and bouncy castle and well as lots of other fun things to do.



And for all the family there will be the ever popular crockery smashing, coconut shy and other English village fete attractions.



There will be a beer tent and BBQ and tombola .



And in the village hall there will be lots of wonderful craft stalls to browse

amongst and a chance to sit down with a piece of homemade cake and a cup of tea.
