A huge display of models all at one show

Aircraft, cars, trucks, boats and tanks will be the stars of the show at the Southern Model Show – an event that will appeal to both expert and novice alike.

The flying programme will be exciting and varied, illustrating the full range of model flying in the UK and Europe. The sky will be filled with aircraft during the D-Day and Battle of Britain themed set-pieces and the exciting finale is not to be missed. Those new to the world of model flying will have an opportunity to participate in this fun hobby for the first time. On the Saturday, the event carries on into the night with Hot Air Balloons, a full size flying display with pyrotechnics and the amazing night model flying.

On the ground, spectators can enjoy the sight and sound of remote controlled car racing whilst being stalked by tanks and other armoured fighting vehicles. On the high seas, or rather in the water tank, epic sea battles will be recreated.

The show is not just for the model enthusiast, there will be things to interest the whole family including children’s amusements and crafts and those attending will be spoilt for choice with flying, boating, car racing, trucks demo’s, tanks all running simultaneously throughout the day with opportunities for the public to have a go or ask the experts. There will be plenty to eat, drink and buy as well as activities for the less model-minded members of the family.
